Henry Paul Johnson

Mr. Johnson has practiced law in Southwest Florida for over 38 years. Mr. Johnson graduated with high honors from Bowdoin College with a double major in history and sociology and a minor in mathematics. He received his Master’s degree in education from the University of Miami (Florida) and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami (Florida) School of Law. From 1984 through the present, he has owned and operated Henry Johnson Law.
Mr. Johnson handles complex construction and construction lien disputes, condominium and homeowners association and real estate matters, business disputes, as well as some personal injury and estate planning matters. He also represents both buyers and sellers incident to real estate and business transactions. He has represented numerous businesses in relation to their general contract, corporate and limited liability company issues.
Mr. Johnson is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Certified
Arbitrator.
Mr. Johnson teaches real estate law as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University. He also taught community association management classes at Lorenzo Walker Technical College in Naples. He was also a past co-Chairman of the Collier Building Industry Association Education Committee.
Mr. Johnson has served as a guest lecturer at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and has conducted private seminars for various banks and businesses in Southwest Florida.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Johnson was a 7th and 8th grade mathematics teacher at The Palmer School (n/k/a Palmer Trinity School) in Miami, Florida. Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice law in all Florida State courts.
Mr. Johnson is recognized as one of Southwest Florida’ s most experienced lawyers in the specialized fields of construction law and construction lien law, condominium and homeowner association law, and business law and business litigation. He also has a great depth of knowledge in condominium and homeowners association law, business and real estate transactions and civil litigation. Presently, he serves as Chairman of the City of Naples’ Code Enforcement Board.
